The JAC S3 was released in 2014. It is based on the JAC A30 (JAC J4) sedan. Its exterior clearly reflects its crossover theme. It is equipped with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine producing 113 hp, which is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission by default, or a continuously variable transmission (CVT) for an additional fee.
